No Rhyme or Reason...
I still read all your old emails, And they still make me feel sad
I guess I could just delete them, But they’re the only memories I have

I keep on trying to find you, The way that you found me before
But something broke and you went away, And now you won’t talk any more

It used to be so much easier; I just had to let you know I was here
And it always seemed you were waiting, I knew that you were always near

But today I find myself all alone, And I’m wondering all about you
I wonder if you’re alone as well, If you knew, never could I doubt you.

And there’s no rhyme or reason,
It’s not just a change of season.
It’s not the way I wanting things,
It’s not what a new love brings.
We said someday we’d settle down,
Big tight hugs for us all around.
But tomorrow came and now you’re gone
Without you, It's hard to go on.

I stumbled across and old picture, It was the first one you ever sent.
I looked in your eyes and missed you, Though my emotions have all be spent.

It reminded me of some better days, When you and I were still in love.
It all happened fast, but we didn’t care, We knew we couldn’t get enough.

We talked about our tomorrows, We made some plans but they fell through.
I couldn’t tell if it was what I said, Or if something bad happened to you.

So I sit here today and think about you, I try to put the pieces together
Because you don’t how much I love you, You didn’t know I meant forever.

And there’s no rhyme or reason,
It’s not just a change of season.
It’s not the way I wanting things,
It’s not what a new love brings.
We said someday we’d settle down,
Big tight hugs for us all around.
But tomorrow came and now you’re gone
Without you, It's hard to go on.
