No Rhyme or Reason...
I still read all your old emails, And they still make me feel sad
I guess I could just delete them, But theyíre the only memories I have

I keep on trying to find you, The way that you found me before
But something broke and you went away, And now you wonít talk any more

It used to be so much easier; I just had to let you know I was here
And it always seemed you were waiting, I knew that you were always near

But today I find myself all alone, And Iím wondering all about you
I wonder if youíre alone as well, If you knew, never could I doubt you.

And thereís no rhyme or reason,
Itís not just a change of season.
Itís not the way I wanting things,
Itís not what a new love brings.
We said someday weíd settle down,
Big tight hugs for us all around.
But tomorrow came and now youíre gone
Without you, It's hard to go on.

I stumbled across and old picture, It was the first one you ever sent.
I looked in your eyes and missed you, Though my emotions have all be spent.

It reminded me of some better days, When you and I were still in love.
It all happened fast, but we didnít care, We knew we couldnít get enough.

We talked about our tomorrows, We made some plans but they fell through.
I couldnít tell if it was what I said, Or if something bad happened to you.

So I sit here today and think about you, I try to put the pieces together
Because you donít how much I love you, You didnít know I meant forever.

And thereís no rhyme or reason,
Itís not just a change of season.
Itís not the way I wanting things,
Itís not what a new love brings.
We said someday weíd settle down,
Big tight hugs for us all around.
But tomorrow came and now youíre gone
Without you, It's hard to go on.
