August is not the month to close.  It's been a long, long summer and I have just one more month of renting.  The cabinets are in place, the inside is painted, and the tile & carpet is supposed to go in by the end of the month.  I've almost filled up a storage locker in Sun City...furniture and tools are all that's left!
